READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE USING THIS SECTION
This section will be a question and answer type forum in order for those facing legal troubles due to their addiction to find some help. I am a paralegal and worked in Penal Law for indigent inmates for quite a long time so I have a little experience I can bring to the table, yet hopefully other members with legal backgrounds will also be members in the future in order to help with the questions. I will try to provide information regarding your questions within 1-2 business days although I can not make any guarantees. I will only be providing information as I am not a lawyer. This means I can provide you with the law, cases, codes, etc. and information regarding
the next steps to take, how much possible time incarcerated you’re looking at, and so on. All informational materials I will try to provide, yet no ADVICE will be provided. To summarize, I can tell you the possible next steps to take in challenging your issue, yet I CAN NOT advise you which one is the best to take.
This forum will be open to all members to ask questions as well as answer them. You may tell them your experiences and outcome while handling an alike issue, or any information you know regarding the law. Please DO NOT give legal advise whether a lawyer or not. I as will as all members of “Addicts Helping Addicts” will not be held responsible for any outcomes due to bad advice you may have received on this website. There is likely to be a lot of hearsay and while I will moderate and cut out any “bad advise” you must always speak to your lawyer before taking an action. If you happen to meet a lawyer on this forum, please be discreet and not talk about your case here.
Thank you and I hope you can find some answers to help with your legal woes here!
